Are you looking for an Erasmus+ traineeship where you can gain hands-on experience in international cooperation, Erasmus+ projects and event organisation?
New University (Nova univerza) is a small and dynamic university located in the centre of Ljubljana, Slovenia. We are looking for a motivated Erasmus+ trainee to join our team and support our international and project activities.
As a trainee, you will work closely with our International Office and gain practical experience in international higher education, Erasmus+ cooperation, project coordination and event organisation.
Your tasks may include:
- mapping and updating our network of international partner institutions;
- communicating with partner universities and organisations within the Erasmus+ programme;
- identifying and researching potential partner institutions for Erasmus+ KA171 cooperation;
- preparing a practical Partner Universities Handbook containing key information about partner institutions and mobility opportunities;
- supporting the preparation of Erasmus+ project applications;
- assisting with the preparation, organisation and updating of project documentation;
- helping to develop the concept and programme for an international Staff Week at New University;
- assisting with the preparation and organisation of Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) hosted by New University;
- supporting the organisation and implementation of university events;
- assisting during international and academic events;
- taking photographs and helping prepare visual content from events;
- providing general support to the International Office and other internationalisation activities.
The exact tasks can be adapted to the trainee’s interests, skills and study background.
Who are we looking for?
We would be happy to welcome a student who:
- is eligible for an Erasmus+ traineeship grant from their home institution;
- has a good command of English – minimum level B2;
- is communicative, responsible and well organised;
- enjoys working in an international environment;
- is proactive and willing to take initiative;
- is comfortable communicating with students, university staff and international partners;
- is interested in international cooperation, Erasmus+, higher education, project work and/or event organisation.
