[INVITATION] Autumn School 2025 at New University
We are pleased to extend a warm invitation to your students to participate in the Autumn School 2025, titled Housing Issues: Different Perspectives, Challenges and Possible Solutions, organized by New University, Slovenia, in cooperation with the Faculty of Law for Commerce and Judiciary in Novi Sad (Serbia) and EFFECTUS University of Applied Sciences (Croatia).
The Autumn School will take place from 15 to 19 September 2025 at New University in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and will be conducted entirely in English.
This program offers international students a unique short-term academic experience, allowing them to explore not only an important contemporary topic — housing policy and law — but also to discover Slovenia as a dynamic and welcoming study destination.
Through expert-led lectures, interdisciplinary discussions, and interactive learning approaches, students will gain valuable insights into housing challenges from legal, economic, social, and environmental perspectives. At the same time, they will experience the vibrant academic environment at New University and the rich cultural and natural beauty of Slovenia.
The Autumn School is open to Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral students, particularly those studying law, social sciences, economics, urban studies, and environmental policy. The program carries an academic value of 3 ECTS credits, awarded upon active participation and completion of a final reflective assignment.
Key benefits for students include:
- An introduction to academic life and study opportunities in Slovenia;
- First-hand experience of New University’s international and interdisciplinary approach;
- Building new friendships and professional connections in a multicultural setting;
- Exploring Ljubljana, one of Europe’s most charming and student-friendly capitals.
The Autumn School is supported by Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP) funding (Project No. 2024-1-SI01-KA131-HED-000197746-1). Students outside the Erasmus+ program are also warmly welcomed and can participate with payment of a registration fee.
Application deadline: 1 August 2025 (or until all available places are filled). Early registration is strongly encouraged.
