[OPPORTUNITY]: New Call for Applications for the Schuman Traineeship
At the beginning of the month, the European Parliament announced a new call for applications for the Schuman traineeship. This is a five-month traineeship for graduates, organized by the Parliament twice a year. The next traineeship period starts on March 1, 2025, and ends on July 31, 2025, with applications open until October 31. The Slovenian Translation Unit is again offering two positions for the traineeship (Post A, Post B). Position B is designed as a combined traineeship across two directorates, where trainees initially translate primarily administrative and political texts, while in the second half of the traineeship, they work on general interest texts for the wider public.
Positions for the Schuman traineeship are also available in other departments of our Directorate-General for Translation, where trainees may engage in tasks such as producing audio podcasts, subtitling, terminology, and information technology (the available positions are listed here). Interested candidates can submit up to three applications. More information about the conditions and application process can be found here.
